- "WHY SHOULD I JOIN?" - Membership not only helps with basic alumni chapter operations, but also gives you some pretty cool perks, such as: access to alumni chapter annual meetings, possible alumni chapter event discounts, eligibility to run for an officer position, access to members-only events, and so much more!
- "I ALREADY PAY THE HOUSING CORPORATION. WHY SHOULD I SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP HERE?" - The Housing Corporation and the Alumni Chapter are two different entities that have two different functions. Put simply, the breakdown is this:
- The purpose of the Stephenville Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter is to strengthen the lifelong bond of brotherhood by upholding the high ideals of friendship, justice, and learning. It exists to foster meaningful connections among alumni brothers, support and mentor undergraduates, and advance the interests and values of Sigma Chi within our community and in the lives of our brothers.
- The purpose of the Housing Corporation is to responsibly steward and manage funds designated for the acquisition, development, and long-term sustainability of a future Sigma Chi chapter house. Upon acquisition of a chapter facility, the Housing Corporation shall oversee the financial management, maintenance, and operation of the property to ensure it serves as a safe, functional, and enduring home for the undergraduate chapter for generations to come.
- "WHERE DO MY MEMBERSHIP DUES GO?" - Your annual membership dues go to helping support alumni chapter operations (such as annual HQ fees), fund events hosted by the Stephenville Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter, support undergraduate scholarship programs, and more!
- "DO I HAVE TO LIVE IN STEPHENVILLE TO JOIN?" - No! Any brother can join, no matter where they are located across the globe!
